About Us
Global Connections is a global concept retail store, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Established in 1993, Global Connections offers women's clothing and accessories - jewellery, scarves, hats, shoes, purses and bags - as well as imported merchandise including masks, folk art carvings, instruments, original paintings, hand-blown glassware, ceramics, mosaics and hundreds of world music titles. New items arrive every week.
Located at The Forks in the historic Johnston Terminal building at the junction of the Red and Assiniboine rivers, Global Connections operates under fair trade principles wherever possible and offers certified fair trade coffee, tea, chocolate, cocoa and sugars.
Exceptional customer service is what we strive to provide, through regular offerings as well as special orders where possible. We will do our utmost to locate those exceptional or exquisite imported goods that our customers desire.
